Osteopathy (OST) is a comprehensive and holistic approach to healthcare that focuses intensely on the relationship between the body’s structure and its overall function. The core purpose is to look at the body as one unit, working on the whole system, not just the site of pain.
That includes looking at the entire body system, including muscle patterns, visceral tension, circulation, respiration & gut health. It seeks to bridge the gap between conventional medical approaches and body-based therapy.
Our clinic Director, Mr. Salman Fitri are one of the few Osteopaths practicing in this highly specialized field in Singapore. It is considered a more gentle alternative to chiropractic care.

For Osteopathy you will be served by our Clinic Director Mr Salman Fitri directly, and it will be a deeper and comprehensive session & treatment. The consultation will be more comprehensive to ask questions about your biological, psychological, and social/environmental factors that are present in your life as part of our patient management.
Not necessarily, although many doctors do refer patients to osteopaths. Your insurance company may require you to be referred by your doctor in order for the treatment to be covered by their policy (please check with your insurer if you are not sure).
This will be discussed and agreed as part of the treatment plan during your first consultation. It is dependent on many factors, including the condition, how long you have been suffering and your body’s response to treatment.
Some mild soreness or pain may be experienced following treatment most likely caused by your bodies reaction to the treatment applied. This is usually mild and short lasting.
Yes, osteopathy is perfectly safe and effective during pregnancy. However, please ensure you advise the practitioner if you are pregnant as the treatment approach may need to be adapted.
You will often hear a popping noise, this is usually pain-free and is a noise from the fluid around the joint and not the bone-cracking.
It is important to keep in mind that we are looking for quality adjustment, and not about the "cracking sound".
